Accessibility statement
Last updated: 30.9.2026
Back to homepageThis business, Ascend, places great importance on making its services and information accessible to the general public, including people with disabilities, and works to align the site with the recommendations of the Israeli standard (IS 5568) at level AA, to the extent possible.
Accessibility measures implemented on this site
Clear page structure and proper heading hierarchy (one main heading per page). Full keyboard navigation (Tab) for all buttons and links, with a clear, visible focus indicator. Form fields properly linked to their labels, not just placeholder text. Descriptive alt text for meaningful images. Adjusts to different screens and mobile devices. Correct language tag and text direction for each language. A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page. The site also respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting (prefers-reduced-motion) and scales back animations accordingly.
The accessibility tool on this site
The site has a floating accessibility button (person icon, bottom corner). Clicking it opens a menu that lets you increase or decrease text size, switch to high contrast or a monochrome (black & white) view, and highlight links. Your settings are saved in your browser for future visits. The tool is meant to help users and is not a substitute for a manual review or full professional adaptation to every assistive technology.
External content and portfolio work
The site includes links to client websites shown in the portfolio. Those sites are managed independently by the clients, and their level of accessibility is not under my control.
Known limitations and ongoing improvement
The site was built with real intent and effort toward good accessibility, but has not undergone a formal conformance review against the Israeli standard by an external certified party, and some content or graphical elements may still not be fully accessible in every scenario. I keep improving the site on an ongoing basis.
